Praying Together

September 23, 2010 by Glenn Sayers

I’m becoming increasingly comfortable…AND also increasingly uncomfortable with prayer and with what I sense God calling us to do at Crossroads.  The Bible says, that the early church “devoted themselves to the apostles teaching, and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done…”  Acts 2:42-43

I’d like Crossroads to take another giant leap of faith by beginning to encourage people to pray TOGETHER.  While private prayer, and spending time alone in prayer, is necessary, and should be a part of each of our daily lives, I’m convinced that corporate prayer, and learning to pray TOGETHER is something we need to learn to do.  I want to invite you to come to the church on Friday nights at 7 p.m. for a time of “TOGETHER” prayer!  Let’s discover the “Lost Art” of the power of praying TOGETHER.

Please join me in this journey, and in this discovery.  Glenn

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made...Psalms 139:14
